Rehana Jamal
Rehana Jamal is a conflict resolution specialist and attorney focused on restorative practices. She has always been fascinated by the ways people communicate and navigate difficult conversations. This led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology and, thereafter, a career in law and conflict resolution. She believes that conflict does not have to escalate if adequate mechanisms are in place to allow for safe and generative communication. Rehana’s current work focuses on equipping communities to navigate conflict and build relationships. Her background as an immigration attorney has shown her first-hand how our current systems are not working. Systems that do not see conflict as something that can be generative. She works with adults and youth to make this shift and to reimagine the systems we currently live in.
